Post-Mid-term 3rd Trimester Mindset

Hey All,
My Mid-term exams just got over...yayyyyy...I know there is nothing to get excited about. Anyway today i want to talk about my country, my superstar India and before i say anything further, let me give due credits to all the people who have inspired me to write this blog. First comes Ms. Shobha De, whose book "Superstar India" is an exciting fresh take on the common Indian's perspective of India. Second, my friend, Krishnakant who seems to be a reincarnation of some freedom fighter from 1940. He has an innate love and passion for this country, so much that i feel he can be a potential candidate for a great politician. Third, Slumdog, ofcourse.
Post-recession, we all know that BRIC nations have accumulated bountiful appreciation for not slipping off the cliff like our Uncle Sam and the Queen's continent. With due respect to their economy and leaders, I am scared of the phenomenon that is about to splash all over our country's new generation- The Modernism of India. Although there are some obvious benefits of this phenomenon, it has the capacity and the cheek to ruin our "5000 years of culture".
A few days back, I came across a new invention in the newspaper about condoms for 12-year olds in UK. Isn't it so shocking?? It is like legalizing Pre-teen, Pre-marital sex. Cashing in on consumerism and the lack of sense of Corporate Social Responsibility on the part of companies is evident from this kind of a product being launched in the market.
I feel this Tsunami is fast approaching our country. US is in the Post-modern era where the administration is desperately making efforts to improve the  educational system, culture, food-habits and sedentary lifestyle of 32 crores Americans.
My best-wishes to them.
For India, my observations say that the basic problems like poverty, unemployment, cannot be eradicated without modernization, if there is an alternate view then i'd love to know!!!
